Will you recycle with us?
Responsible Recycling
Electronic waste or “e-waste” is any device that can be plugged into a wall or takes batteries, such as computers, cell phones, tablets, chargers and laptops. Electronic waste is the fastest growing waste stream in the world and most electronics are not responsibly recycled, which pollutes our environment and increases the need to mine and source new precious resources, such as gold, silver, and platinum. InfinityLab by Harman is committed to taking sustainable steps with the creation of our products, but also encourages InfinityLab customers to do their part by recycling their unwanted electronics with Homeboy Electronics Recycling through the use of our mail in electronics program.
Get Involved and make a Social Impact
We have partnered with Homeboy Industries’, a non profit organization that provides hope, training, and support to formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated people, allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of our community. Recycling with Homeboy through the InfinityLab supports Homeboy’s social mission, protects our environment, and supports job creation in Los Angeles.
Homeboy Electronics Recycling
Homeboy Electronics Recycling, one of Homeboy Industries’ nine social enterprises, is an award-winning R2 (Responsible Recycling) certified social enterprise, offering comprehensive IT asset disposition, data deconstruction and electronics recycling services. Homeboy is committed to the highest possible standards for electronic reuse, e-waste recycling, and the destruction of sensitive data. They do all of this while providing on-the-job training and employment for people who face systemic barriers to work. Homeboy will receive all electronics mailed in through the Infinity program, refurbish them or responsibly recycle the devices.
